Our Story
The Envisage Team met while completing their PhD’s at The University of Queensland —
Joshua’s on Turbomachinery Design, and Phillip’s on Complex Fluid Flows. We continued to work together in research positions at The University of Queensland, with projects that served a wide range of industries, including aerospace, renewable energy, surface preparation, and oil and gas. While the industries and end-users were diverse, the projects all revolved around product development — the benchmarking, design, analysis, and experimental validation of systems. We decided to make our partnership a business, as we saw potential in our shared experience, complimentary skill sets and mutual philosophy that aims to tackle complex engineering problems head-on, delivering high quality, economic and timely results.
